Straction, a business development and marketing consultancy that helps its clients to turn their strategies into action, has launched. It will provide advice and services across four key areas of business planning, business development, brand, and communications.
Straction was founded by Marc McConnell who has over 20 years experience in sales and marketing across professional services and corporate organisations.
Marc was most recently global business development and marketing director at Cluttons where he implemented its business planning process and led a rebrand of the 250 year-old firm. He was previously an executive director at BNP Paribas, and held marketing roles at Sky TV, and Virgin Media in the early part of his career.
Marc McConnell, founder of Straction, comments ‘having worked in-house for 20 years I believe there can be a gap between high level business strategy and the actual business development and marketing activity being carried out on the ground. The gap often exists because organisations haven’t spent enough time working out the actions their people need to take to deliver their strategy. I see an opportunity to help companies to engage their people through better implementation of sales and marketing activity that’s aligned with business strategy.’
